About ChristinaChristina has been studying and practicing the art of healing since 2000. 1999 - Christina studied meditation. The training included guided meditation focusing on silence and the breath. The teachings also included Chi Gong. 2000 - Christina went on journey around the world to try and make sense of it,and to obtain a greater awareness of the major religions and belief systems. It was also to find ways to heal her own body. She was invited to stay with medicine women living and practicing the traditions of the Native American in New Mexico. That is when her journey started. They shared with her some of their teachings and ways of healing. They taught her the importance of dreams, their history and ceremonies such as sweat lodge. They taught her about traditional medicine and what was needed to heal her own body. She later travelled to Mexico where she crossed into the border of Guatemala. As fate would have it she came across 3 shamans who became her teachers. They taught her all the things that her native Indian teacher told her she would be learning. This included Reiki, Shamanism, Universal Law, Crystals, Sound Therapy and attended traditional Mayan Ceremonies. They showed her how to heal her body and obtain a greater understanding of this world. 2004 - Christina returned to Guatemala where she obtained the 3rd and final level of Reiki called Shinpi Dan (Level 3 allows you to teach Reiki). She travelled to Peru and in Cusco where she met a healer who shared his teachings from the Inca traditions. Her highlight was attending an Inca ceremony on a full moon at the moon temple situated above Cusco. From there she travelled to Brazil where she continued to learn about new methods of healing such as candle healing and reflexology. 2006 - She has completed further energetic healing courses in Australia to complement the skills that were given to her. 2009 - Christina was invited to attend the Sun Dance.A sacred ceremony held by the Lakota Nation. From there she travelled to New Mexico where she met a Navaho artist/healer who shared with her teachings as they travelled through different sacred sites. 2011 - Christina travelled to Guatemala where she attended the Mayan New Year ceremony which is held every year in the highlands with seven women shamans and her Reiki master. It was an honour to be invited and to take part in this sacred ceremony. She travelled across the country with her teacher distributing clothing and worm tablets for the children. She than travelled to Tikal (ancient Mayan ruins). Christina now wants to share the tools and teachings that helped transform her life with you. Be in Balance |
